Despite regular doctor check-ups, tests, and medications, some illnesses cause us so much suffering that we sometimes wonder if there’s something beyond all this that could make us feel better! Something that could reduce our pain a little more!
For those of us suffering from chronic pain-related issues – whether it’s headaches, back pain, or joint pain, where it seems impossible to function without painkillers! We take medications but can’t shake off the worry in our minds – will this harm my liver or kidneys?
Moreover, those already suffering from liver or kidney diseases cannot easily undergo other treatments. This is because not all medications can be prescribed in these cases! Additionally, dose adjustment becomes a significant issue even with normal medications!
Consider long-term diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, psoriasis, or asthma! As these diseases progress, the patient’s frustration grows in proportion! Here, disease management itself becomes a tiresome battle!
Driven by such worries, various complementary/alternative medicines have found their place in our lives. There is no conflict with science, and for the methods that aren’t filled with commercial falsehoods – very few of us haven’t looked for such solutions in times of extreme helplessness or illness! Hijama cupping therapy can be a reliable solution for precisely such needs.
Do we know that just as there are Sunnah rules for eating, sleeping, walking, and sleeping, there are also Sunnah rules for treatment, known as Prophetic Medicine? Hijama Cupping Therapy is exactly such a Sunnah treatment method. Hijama cupping therapy is the most important part of Prophetic Medicine.

Hijama is a popular Sunnah and Science-based treatment method. It is a treatment for diseases and a preventative measure for healthy individuals. It eliminates toxins or poisonous biochemical waste from the body.
Hijama is an anti-aging treatment, meaning people around the world prefer it to maintain their youth and increase their stamina. Athletes and celebrities worldwide use cupping therapy to enhance their beauty and strength.
Hijama is a type of treatment; through it, all toxins, uric acid, bad blood, and disease-causing pathogens are removed from the body along with plasma or fluid. It releases multiple neurotransmitters, produces nitric oxide, and brings balance through detoxification in the body.
Generally, we take medicine for a specific problem. However, the contaminated plasma removed in Hijama contains pathogens of multiple diseases. For example, cold, cough, depression, arthritis, sciatica pain, anxiety, sleep disorders, muscle pain, and other disease-causing pathogens are removed, reducing the severity of any disease.
Anas (RA) narrated that the Prophet (PBUH) said: “I did not pass by any group of angels on the night of Miraj, but they all said, ‘Instruct your Ummah to practice Hijama.’” (Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith 2053)
Hijama for the Treatment of All Diseases:
“Abu Kabsha Anmari (RA) narrated that the Prophet (PBUH) used to have Hijama performed on the middle of his head and between his shoulders and said that anyone who practices Hijama on these areas will not need to seek treatment for any other disease.” (Sunan Abu Dawood, Hadith 3859; Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith 3484, Sahih Sanad)
The Prophet (PBUH) said, “Seek Hijama when the heat increases, as it may lead to death if blood pressure increases.” (Al-Hakim, Hadith Number: 7482).
Though Hijama is widely practiced in Arab countries and India-Pakistan, it is rapidly gaining popularity in our country as well. Modern methods of Hijama treatment are also being adopted in Japan, America, and China. This treatment was very common during the time of the Prophet (PBUH). Since Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) himself practiced Hijama and encouraged others to do so, there must be many benefits to it.
