Understanding Jinn and Treatment of Black Magic in Islam:
Translation of Surah Rahman (55:13):“So which of the favors of your Lord would you “Humans and Jinn” deny?” According to Islam, there are no ghosts, but there are Jinn. Jinn can possess a human’s mind or brain and take control of the person’s body. While Hijama (cupping therapy) does not make the Jinn flee, it can alleviate the physical and mental harm caused by such possession. To expel Jinn, one must perform Ruqya, which involves reciting specific verses from the Quran.

However, when a person is possessed by a Jinn, the physical and mental damage can be addressed through Hijama. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was once affected by black magic. He performed Ruqya using Surah An-Nas and Surah Al-Falaq and then had Hijama done on his head.

Key Points:
1. Existence of Jinn: Islam acknowledges the existence of Jinn but denies the existence of ghosts.
2. Possession: Jinn can possess humans, affecting their mental and physical health.
3. Ruqya: The process of expelling Jinn involves reciting Quranic verses, specifically Surah An-Nas and Surah Al-Falaq.
4. Hijama: While Hijama does not directly expel Jinn, it helps alleviate the damage caused by their possession.

Treatment Process:
Ruqya: Recite Surah An-Nas and Surah Al-Falaq to expel the Jinn.
Hijama: Perform Hijama to relieve the physical and mental ailments caused by the possession.

Example from the Life of the Prophet (SAW):
– The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was affected by black magic.
– He performed Ruqya using Surah An-Nas and Surah Al-Falaq.
– Subsequently, he had Hijama done on his head to alleviate the effects.

Conclusion:
Combining Ruqya and Hijama can be an effective approach to treating the harmful effects of Jinn possession. While Ruqya addresses the spiritual aspect, Hijama helps in recovering from the physical and mental damages.
